If the forecast at your venue shows sustained winds above 25 km/h or gusts above 35 km/h during your booking window, the vendor will not set up. Period. There's no judgement call on the day — the threshold is set by the platform, not the vendor.
Why this is non-negotiable: a properly-anchored castle handles 35 km/h gusts safely. Above that, the loads on the anchor points exceed the manufacturer's rated capacity. The actual failure mode is the castle lifting and rolling — usually within seconds, often with kids inside.
What happens to your money:
- If the cancellation call is made before the vendor leaves the depot (typically by 06:00 the day of), you get a 100% account credit valid for 12 months.
- If conditions deteriorate after setup, the vendor packs down and you get a 75% credit — the 25% retained covers the dispatch cost. (This is rare; vendors usually cancel pre-dispatch when forecasts are bad.)
The credit can be redeemed against any future booking, including a same-product reschedule for the following weekend.
